SPIRIT MUCUS is a spatial-auditory and site-sensitive installation that was realized in an open shipping container at the Suvilahti cultural area in the autumn of 2020.

It consists of mushrooms, slimes, different sticky beings and a video.

SPIRIT MUCUS is a state of in-betweenness — a hybrid that resists categorization and clear boundaries. It reaches toward fibrous, permeable, sticky structures composed of multiplicity.

SPIRIT MUCUS is a feminist and anti-normative utopia that dreams of ecocentrism and interspecies communism.
