Sylvi Keskonen was born small. She wants to see far, and that’s why she has chosen total seclusion in an apartment building — for when there’s too much noise all around, one can never truly listen.
Sylvi kisses hot glass, guards the mountain within her, and feels drawn to Dionysus — the Greek god of chaos and hedonism — and to the myth of the maenads. She is absorbed into the twists of shadows, carving with an axe her visions of architecture, erosion, entropy, grouping, cruelty, cats, and dogs.
Ekstaasi kaksiossa is a defense of eccentricity and the thirst for life. A stage piece that revels in acting, music, and visuality, it pulses with defiance, sensitivity, and humor.
